I wish I knew you didn't have to grout. I made a mosaic portrait of my favorite singer Steve Perry and I was soooo disappointed after grouting it. Grouting it made him look washed out. Now I've been trying to fix it by painting the grout, but I can't get the same look prior to grouting. I'm very sorry that I grouted it.

I love sorting!!!! in fact I'm pretty sure I spend more time sorting than creating. I should probably do what you do and save it as a reward. lol

I wander if there's some didactoc uses for these, it's quite problematic that they count only from 1 to 7, but perhaps they would have uses for games, like hiding them in places and having the higher ones be harder to reach.

make your own molds....buy pans etc at thrift stores... build wooden ones, why waste money buying expensive molds. ALSO buy cheap portland cement and fine sand and call it a day...

I've been planning just this. My out of state friend saves his stained glass cut offs. When another friend in that area comes to visit me, the bucket is picked up and delivered. I have well over 200 lbs of glass. Just now ready to get it sorted by color and the colors by size. I love the sorting part, it's like a meditation for me. Love your work. Thanks for the videos.❤

If everyone's name (number) went into a bowl/bag/hat, then there would'nt be a need to have an even number for an exchange (?). No need to explain, it probably has to do with the drama or system you figured out to allow getting a variety of ATCs. The ATCs you have collected are real gems. I am in the process of making a bird bath. I wanted to add a clear glass stone with an image glued on the back underside of it. Before i attach it to the bath, would resin seal it enough to keep the image protected from the water and sunlight? Any ideas?

I worry about lead in thrift store items, especially the old pieces.. is there a way to protect against that or check to make sure the clay/item doesn't have high levels of lead?

My mind is blown that polishing with sandpaper was new to anyone! Polymer clay artist use it all the time to polish jewelry pieces. I even use it with resin pieces that have flaws or dust or finger prints.

Hi Julie, I learned a lot from this video. I have mosaiced a board game, and I want to use resin on it so that aside from hanging as art, it would actually be usable. I know, crazy. 🤪 So obviously it doesn’t have an edge. Will this be possible?
